Kathin Ceremony at Wat Pa Saeng Dhamma Draws Devotees for Multipurpose Building Fundraising

Today, October 27, 2024, Wat Pa Saeng Dhamma in Ban Pru, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, hosted a Kathin ceremony to raise funds for constructing a multipurpose building. Devotees from Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar gathered in impressive numbers, making it one of the largest gatherings on record, particularly during the morning alms-giving ceremony, demonstrating the strong faith in Buddhism.

During the event, Luang Pu Sawat Piyadhammo from Wat Pa Kukhat, Maha Sarakham Province, graciously delivered a Dhamma sermon, inspiring the audience with his teachings and strengthening their faith in Buddhism.

This year’s Kathin ceremony aims to fund the construction of a multipurpose building, which will serve as a hub for religious activities and community events. Wat Pa Saeng Dhamma expresses deep gratitude to all participants who have contributed to this meritorious cause.

Those who wish to further support this initiative can make donations to the Siam Commercial Bank, account number 7272397659. For more information, please visit the Wat Pa Saeng Dhamma Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/watpasangtham
