Hat Yai | August 11, 2024 – The "10,000 Monks Almsgiving Ceremony and International Sangha Dana, 21st Edition" was held grandly this morning on Niphat Uthit 3 Road, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. The ceremony began at 6:00 AM, bringing together 10,000 monks from four countries and 14 provinces in southern Thailand.

In addition to the large number of monks, the event attracted Buddhists both locally and internationally, especially from Malaysia and Singapore, who gathered to participate in the almsgiving as a demonstration of their faith in Buddhism. This event represents a unification of faith among Buddhists from various cultures and serves as a symbol of unity in the region.

The almsgiving ceremony was met with an overwhelming response from the general public, who actively participated in the religious merit-making and rituals. This significant event highlights the strength and enduring presence of Buddhism within global Buddhist communities.
