HatYai, Thailand – May 25, 2025 – The vibrant city of HatYai once again came alive as the 17th annual HatYai Marathon 2025 unfolded at Jiranakorn Stadium. The event saw an impressive turnout with almost 10,000 runners, not only from across Thailand but also neighboring countries like Malaysia and Singapore. The race was organized into four categories: Full Marathon (42.195 km), Half Marathon (21.1 km), Mini Marathon (10.5 km), and Fun Run (4 km). Starting at 3:00 a.m., runners took to the streets under stringent safety and support measures, ensuring a memorable and secure experience for participants of all ages and skill levels.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with determination and camaraderie among runners from a variety of backgrounds. Both men and women—elite athletes, amateur enthusiasts, and costumed runners alike—brought color and excitement to the event. The marathon venue also featured stalls showcasing a range of local foods and products, giving visitors a warm taste of HatYai's unique culture and hospitality.
