HatYai Upgrades Phetkasem Road Surface from Water Fountain Roundabout to Siam Nakarin – Drive with Extra Caution!

The HatYai City Municipality is currently expediting surface improvements on Phetkasem Road, a key route in the city. The renovation has moved forward from VL Hotel Junction to Khor Hong Three-way Intersection, and has now reached the stretch between the Water Fountain Roundabout and Siam Nakarin. In this phase, contractors are removing damaged road surfaces and repaving with new asphalt. Work is being done one side at a time to minimize traffic disruption. Motorists using this route, especially between the Water Fountain Roundabout and Siam Nakarin, are strongly advised to drive with extra care, as the roadway surface may have varying heights across lanes at some points. These measures are in place for everyone’s safety.
