Maxim donates Humanitarian aid to more than 100 families, victims of Flood

Maxim Hat Yai has stepped up to support flood-affected communities by donating essential supplies, including meal boxes, drinking water, instant noodles, rice, and canned fish. These much-needed resources were distributed to four key locations actively aiding flood victims: Mittrapap Samakkhi Foundation, PSU Volunteer Center, Hat Yai Municipality, and Khlong Hae Municipality.

As floodwaters begin to recede, many residents remain unable to leave their homes due to damaged infrastructure and submerged roads. Over a hundred families, including children, elderly residents, and middle-aged individuals, are relying on relief efforts. In some areas, stagnant floodwaters have disrupted daily life. Small vehicles cannot navigate the roads, adding to the challenges faced by local residents and leaving communities dependent on municipal services to deliver food and supplies.

"We’re seeing many families still in need of assistance. Roads in some areas are inaccessible, leaving residents reliant on municipal and volunteer efforts to deliver essentials," said Russana Lahlah, Head of Maxim Hat Yai. "It’s a difficult time for our community, and we hope these donations provide some relief and hope as we move toward recovery."

Manoch Pattano, President of the Khlong Hae Municipality Council, expressed his gratitude for the support, saying, "The assistance from Maxim has been invaluable for residents still facing challenges. On behalf of the community, we extend our heartfelt thanks."

Maxim Hat Yai remains committed to supporting the local community, working hand in hand with municipal authorities and volunteers to ensure that help reaches those who need it most.
