HatYai: A New Urban Hub in ThungYai

The KhlongHae Town Municipality has unveiled an ambitious development plan over a span of 13 years aiming to transform the ThungYai area into a modern urban hub named MuangMai.

According to the municipality's plan, this transformation will include a blend of contemporary urban design with a focus on community-centric spaces, ensuring that the new city offers a harmonious living environment for its future residents.

The project is set to commence in phases, with the first phase focusing on laying down the essential infrastructure. The entire development is expected to take 240 months, starting from January 27, 2024, and is projected to conclude on February 24, 2044.


The KhlongHae Town Municipality is optimistic about this project, envisioning it as a future model city that balances urban development with environmental sustainability, offering a higher quality of life for the community.
